The wind blew wildly around her, tossing her blonde hair into her face. Juliet was on her way to The Three Broomsticks, walking her way through the snow. There was a thin layer on the ground, and the footprints that showed her walking from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade were quickly being covered by a fresh layer of fluffy white.
Juliet was really looking forward to this trip; pumpkin juice simply didn't compare to a good, piping hot butterbeer in the chilly weather. The fifth-year loved the way it warmed her mouth, then her throat, then entered her belly, allowing the warmth to spread throughout her body. It was delicious as well as relaxing.
Narrowing her brown eyes, she located the little pub. Almost there... She pressed on. Even under her lined grey woolen mitts, her fingers were starting to freeze.
ooc: so it is blockquote. xD

With the hysteria going on with werewolves and everything, Rose had been forced to whine and beg in order to get her permission slip signed. When that didn't work she applied logic, and pointed out to her beloved parents just how safe they were. From the number of staff and adults there were in Hogsmeade, to how unlikely it was that a werewolf would attack during THE DAY. After much effort, the battle was won, and with a satisfied grin Rose marched across the snowy grounds. There was really nothing special about Hogsmeade, but Hogsmeade weekends provided a little bit of freedom. It was a chance to escape the headaches of the school and loathesome gits like Malfoy and his crew. "Ah....." Rose uttered to herself, recognizing her fellow house mate. "Juliet!" she jogged up to her. It wasn't hard to forget her face, being that she was the seeker of the Quidditch team. Though Rose thought the sport was brute and stupid, she did enjoy watching the bits of violence between the houses. "Great game last week against Hufflepuff. Shame they slugged you with a bludger right before the catch" She winced at the thought, she felt bad for Juliet, but it was freaking awesome... Not that she would admit her satisfaction of watching such violence... it was just.. a game well played.

ooc; crashing yo’
Hogsmeade; the only place of which the Hogwarts student have to get away from the castle, the only downside was, you’d still meet those you saw at the castle every single day. Still, nobody seemed to care much about the detail, as long as there were a day out of the week that one could get away from the castle confinement, it doesn’t seemed to be such a bad idea. Well, at least to Louis it wasn’t. It was a much needed break from school that despite the recent events, no one could really stop Louis from stretching his legs outside the castle ground. After all, there was only two years left of school before he had to head out and face the big bad world, he just had to start somewhere. Plus, what was the worse that could happen in broad daylight? He could trip over his shoelace, well; in that case, he’d just laugh it off, get up and went on his way again. It wasn’t exactly a matter of life and death.
Alas, just as Louis was strolling around, glancing around to see what was in the stores as he passed, he found himself catching the sight of two very familiar faces. Grinning, he quickly changed his course from where he was heading towards the two girls that seemed to be heading to the infamous The Three Broomstick. “Fancy seeing you here cousin,” Louis chimed as he got close enough to the two. A sheepish smile spread across his face. “And you Jules,” He added, nodding slightly.

Juliet whipped around the moment she heard her name; being a Seeker really helped sharpen your senses. Upon seeing her house-mate's face, her own broke out into a grin.
"Rose," she smiled, the wind tossing her voice away, making her wonder if the red-haired girl had even heard. She let out a half-stifled sneeze. The weather would probably only get worse, and she didn't want to get sick, not right before Christmas break. Not that she would ever allow herself to stay in bed all day.
"Yeah, it was a fun game..." The fifth-year murmured, subconsciously rubbing her left arm as they continued walking toward the pub. The bruise there was a rich purple, tinged yellow at the edges. She would have gone to the hospital, but a bruise just didn't seem like it was worth a trip to the hospital wing. Besides, they were probably busy with wizards and witches with real injuries or sicknesses.
Just then, another voice, a masculine voice, sounded. Turning once again, Juliet saw that it was Louis, a boy in her year, and Rose's cousin. "Hey," she invited, "You coming with us?"

"Least it didn't knock you off your broom" she added in reassurance, though somewhere inside her hoped just a bit that she'd have fallen off. That.. was something she'd never admit. But if she had fallen, that height with her weight... she would have just splattered, or just broken a ton of her bones and give the team a bit more badass points. Oh well... There was still hope for next game. She pulled out a tissue packet from inside her pocket and handed them to Juliet "Here. I'd hate to have you sick before next match... Between you and me, that replacement of ours is.." she looked both ways before uttering "horrible. That bloke couldnt catch a snitch even if it was frozen in midair. ...But I never said that--" she added with a finger to her lips, stiffling a giggle just intime.
Louis.. smiled at her cousin as he approached them. Her light and shining hope, the prefect of the Weasley family. A position that would most likely be hers. She didn't have any doubts, and could certainly not think of anyone else who was better for the position. She was gracious, smart, helpful, kind. She was sure of it. With the hours she spent in studying, and the good she spread to the world. Hell if she didn't get that position she was really going to have to hex somebody. Particularly the only guy who ever got her off her good track.. Malfoy. Blech. Snivelling git.
"Aiiishh" she hissed to herself as a full blown wind came sweeping in their direction, she grabbed for the door of the pub and swung it open, most of the force was due to the wind. "Come on now.. its freezing" she insisted, wanting nothing more at this point than to indulge in a large mug of warm butterbeer.

Sometimes, having a number of female cousin helps when you want to talk to girls. You can just simply crash one of their conversation and hope that you’d get invited for a drink as well. Of course, it would help if you have a decent or semi-decent relationship with your cousin, which, thankfully, Louis does have. “Thought you’d never ask,” Louis said with a grin spread across his face, thanking Rose at the back of his head as he tried not to guess what was playing in Rose’s head, though he could probably guess it right. What else would be at the back of the girl’s head, school, hoping to be prefect the next year, books, prefect-ship, school, and the list goes on with the same item repeating itself making it almost pointless to make a list in the first place. Despite the fact that he was very fond of his cousin, Louis wasn’t sure that Rose would even become a prefect. Yes, Rose was smart; there was no denying it, especially when her mother is the infamous Hermione Weasley. It was just that, Louis wasn’t even sure what, just a feeling of which he can’t quite put his finger on it. Still, he quickly brushed off the thought, focusing back on the people before him.
Just in time as well, as Rose was already rushing them into the pub. “What, I thought you’ve learned some spells by now to keep warm,” Louis said teasingly, knowing full well that Rose would probably take it rather badly. Still, Louis being Louis, grinned as he helped push the door, “Ladies,” He said politely towards Rose and Juliet, trying to be somewhat of a decent gentleman. Well, he knows when he should be polite and when he should not.
ooc; the suckiness of it all... >.>

"Aw, he isn't that bad..." Juliet blushed on the boy's behalf. After all, he'd made it as a replacement, hadn't he? Maybe he'd be a star player during an actual game. Unfortunately, if you don't do well during tryouts, nobody gets to see how well you might play. She sighed and took the tissue with a smile of gratitude. Poor him... She mused. She'd thought she'd seen some hint of a Quidditch player within him.
Suddenly, The Three Broomsticks was looming before her, and Rose was rushing her and Louis in. She gave him a smile and a quiet "thanks" as she passed by, right arm half-reaching for the door instinctively. A rush of well-appreciated warm air greeted her as they entered the pub, and past the slightly-smoky air, Juliet located a four-person table by the large mirror at the back. "Come on, back there." She nodded towards the table.
ooc: not nearly as bad as mine ;o

Rose shot a glare at Louis that could easily be interpretted as 'STFU you dumb bastard'. Of course she could have used a spell... it just.. didn't occur to her. Her inner brain whimpered at her lack of ability to assess that. A witch of all things and she ended up taking the muggle approach of freezing her ass off. Still.. she'd rather die than to admit that openly. "So I can show them off like you? No thanks" she added snidely "I dont need to prove anything to anybody". Rose looked at him, allowign a smirk to climb on her face "thought you got past that stage already Louis or are you still trying to top Victoires accomplishments?" ... low blow. But it couldn't be helped, he had it coming for him. With Juliet's ushering she followed inside the pub and was instantly embraced in it's warm atmosphere. Crowded but typical Juliet was able to spot empty places a mile away. Bless her seeker heart. "Yay" She cheered lowly, holding onto Juliets arm and followed after her trying to stay close to her. Just because Juliet spotted the spot, wasn't likely that she'd notice it once the crowd began moving. Already she could barely notice the spot. Rose turned back to Louis "Let's go Bu---" Butthead, was what she meant to say, "Bu --ddy" she smiled innocently. Rose was too mature to be immature like that.. atleast not in public. OOC: I will beat you savagely if you remark about suckiness of posts in the future... I thought they were lovely and thats all that matters.

If looks could kill, the term floated across Louis’ mind as he saw the deathly glare from Rose. He chuckled slightly; amused by Rose’s inability to take a joke while privately thinking how it would be if Rose did ended up becoming a prefect in the near future. Well, that, he wanted to see. “Me?” Louis said in a surprised tone. “Never!” He added, pulling the best offended look he could afford. It was not that easy to offend him. After all, Louis had always seen Rose more like a little sister he could pick on, so, taking anything of which she said to heart, that would just be pathetic. She was just a child after all. “But, you’re right, you don’t need to prove yourself to anyone,” He continued, winking slightly. In truth, Louis had meant what he said, but, that doesn’t Rose would see it the way he does. Personally, Louis couldn’t care less about proving himself or watch someone else try to prove themselves either.
“I never consider it even a challenge,” Louis said thoughtfully. True, they had been compared to each other in the past. Then again, Louis was always far more interested in what he could do. Plus, he was a boy and there was really not that much comparison that could be run between the two. Dominique on the other hand – well, being the younger girl might be hard. Louis opened his mouth to speak again, but before he could, Rose had cut him off with a cheer. It looked like Juliet had found them a seat. A small grin played on his lips. “Nice work Jules,” He chimed in and was about to add something else when Rose was calling for him. Again, Louis couldn’t help but wanting to laugh, Rose can definitely be a fairly amusing company. “Right, come on – Buddy,” He said with a grin still playing in his lips.

Pushing through the crowd with Rose in tow was not an easy task, but they eventually reached the table. She watched the two cousins with a bemused, yet almost wistful look on her face. Juliet didn't have any relatives her age, nor did she have familial ties with famous wizards or witches. In the wizarding world, she was well alone. In fact, if it weren't for her skill in Quidditch, she might be having a lonelier time at Hogwarts.
Choosing one of the two chairs against the mirror, she sat down and hung her coat on the back of the seat. She tucked her mitts in the pockets, but kept her scarf and hat on. Her cheeks and the tip of her nose had turned rosy from the cold; she could tell from the somehow burning-cold sensation on said features. So, trying to keep her fingers from shaking, she waved someone over so that they could get their drinks, and quickly. Hopefully they could see her, through the ever-thickening crowd.

Finally Juliet and her had managed to squeeze their way to the spot. She quickly scooted in beside Juliet and rubbed her freezing hands together in an attempt to warm it. The pub might have been warm but her body hadn't adjusted to it yet. Rose watched Juliets feeble attempt to usher some service in this direction, looking at her with a look that read 'really', she turned from her and stood up shouting loudly "WE'LL TAKE THREE BUTTERBEERS OVER HERE! Make 'em hot, we're freezing over here!!!", after she got the attention of the hostess noisely she sat back down, calmly and smiled pleased at her ability to be noticed quickly, though she was sure the hostess was not pleased at getting yelled at, somethings could not be helped.
".... so" she drummed her fingers on the table noisely looking between Louis and Juliet. Even though she was younger she never considered herself a toddler. Though Louis seemed to think he was her wise elder or somethin. Well, the feeling was mutual, Rose too felt like the elder between her and Louis. "Too bad Louis is here." she joked, looking at Juliet, pretending to ignore her cousin "Here I thought we could plot out Malfoy's demise" The butterbeers arrived and Rose squeed with delight. Ah the power of volume..

ooc; Sorry for the extremely late reply Jules & Rose, I was preoccupied with real life. Tried to make a life changing move, but crashed and burned ahahah... Nonetheless, I was fairly amused... So, it was all good...
Tailing a couple of girls through a packed room was, at least in Louis’ opinion, rather entertaining. Ducking a few patrons who happened to be dead drunk however, wasn’t. Nonetheless, he survived it as he tailed Juliet and Rose through the packed room to the seat Juliet had pointed earlier. Of course, Louis had had hoped to claim the seat next to Juliet, but as any cousin would, Rose wasn’t going to make it any easier for Louis at any rate. Luckily for him though, Louis had gotten used to Rose’s tricks that he merely chuckle when Rose quickly claimed the seat next to Juliet. She might have done it on purpose or Rose could have just been too ignorant in the first place. Still, like a good boy, Louis took the seat right across from Juliet and placed his coat on the seat next to him without making a scene. He was sure that Rose would eventually come up with something that will catch everyone else’s attention... And, he was right. Louis couldn’t help but wanting to laugh, but he managed to get away with a small grin instead.
Rose was definitely not the patient one. Louis thought to himself as Rose shouted over the crowd with the Butterbeer orders, noticing from the corner of his eyes, well, the hostess wasn’t all that pleased with Rose’s action. “Too bad?” Louis asked with a fake shocked tone, pulling the best surprised look he could muster. Offended? Well, it wasn’t as if Rose had never said anything offensive to him before, so, it was really not an actual surprise for Louis that Rose decided to pick on him again. It was amusing, still, yes, playing around and toying with whatever shred of patience that Rose had was going to be fun indeed. “Still, cousin, aren’t you a bit beneath bullying?” He asked casually, just in time as the Butterbeer was delivered to their table and Rose was all happy again. Reaching out for his bottle, Louis turned his attention to Juliet who had been rather left out throughout the whole conversation. “So, Jules, how’s OWLs year treating you so far?” He asked before taking a sip of the Butterbeer. Well, finding out what Juliet had been doing could very well be far more interesting than having some childish banter with Rose.

ooc: it's fine (:
No sooner had she lifted her arm, her fourth-year companion proceeded to stand up, yelling loudly at the hostess for the butterbeers. It was all Juliet could do by shrinking back into her seat, cheeks red not only from the cold, but from the woman's cold glare in their general direction. Juliet couldn't tell if it was aimed at Rose or at their table in general. Either way, she didn't like being look at like that. It was a bit unsettling.
Turning to Rose with a small smile, she leaned on one arm on the table and rested her head on her hand with a small laugh. She didn't really mind Scorpius, and she found it rather hard to not like Louis. Maybe it was just a family thing. She sighed quietly and looked up to see the same lady from before handing them their drinks. She accepted her Butterbeer with a quiet word of thanks and held it between her hands, letting it warm them with a tiny, content smile. "My O.W.L.s?" She tapped the side of her mug with her fingers, still holding it steady with her palms. "It's going fine, I suppose. A bit stressing though. I'm nervous." She admitted with a small, sheepish smile, before adding, "Hope I don't fail Ancient Runes." It was, quite honestly, the only subject she was worried about. She had at-least-solid knowledge in the other subjects, though she figured she could do with some extra studying in Herbology. Come to think of it, is my Astronomy grade slipping? She took a thoughtful gulp of Butterbeer, then relaxed as the warm, delicious beverage trickled down her throat. The exams were still a long ways away. "How're you getting on so far?" She asked him in return, taking another sip of her Butterbeer. It had that soothing effect on her.

OOC: Dramaticwench "He started it!" she blurted defensively before realizing how childish it sounded. Her cheeks reddened a bit and she lowered her volume a few notches, justifying her actions, "I mean.. really. If anything this is could be considered revenge." she nodded affirmatively besides the whole Hugo incident there were other things on her mind.. "For weeks that bloodybastards been up to something trying to get me alone to try and make a mockery out of me or something" she added. Though really had no clue what the hell was floating in Malfoy's mind. She wasn't dumb but... she wasn't psychic neither. Rose indulged in her butterbeer. Revenge was neccessary.. but for now she'd have to qwell the ideas. It was clear that the slimey git had conned the rest of the world with his 'innocense'. Pitiful. How easily they were fooled but not her! " IM... preparing for my finals" she attempted to slip herself into this conversation that excluded those not taking OWLS. Louis was really a butthead for bringing it up, attempting to brag in his own way. Hmph. "Everyone in my year is already dreaming of the day they can drop Potions from their class list.. I think i'd like to keep at it" she nodded then suddenly felt queesey. Oh right... There was that issue... "Even though certain students get special treatment in that class on account of their mum being the professor and all" she hinted bitterly. Maybe of all those werewolf attacks going around one could accidentally maul Mrs. Malfoy and make her lose interest in teaching. ;D Though that was just wishful thinking was all..

Louis paid all of his attention towards what Juliet was saying as he sipped on his drink lazily. It became apparent to him that just like everyone else, Juliet was too having her own set of struggle when it came to the tests. “You’ll do fine, in Runes, I mean,” Louis said simply, putting the Butterbeer that was becoming an extension of his hand back onto the table. On normal days, Louis was never known for being the comfort anyone needed; he would mostly crack a joke about things just to avoid the responsibility. However, on those rare occasion when he realized that jokes could only do so much, he can shed out of his usual skin and provide enough insight to perhaps helped people to see reasons. “And, I reckon I could help you out,” He added with an offer as his fingers fiddled with the corner of the table. “I’m not saying that I was ever any good with the whole thing, but, two brains had always been better than one,” He added sincerely. The truth was, Louis was far brighter than her had ever let anyone on knowing. After all, getting into Ravenclaw required the members to be intelligent. Though, seeing Louis he had always been far more comfortable letting what rumours had been floating around to colour his world rather than setting the record straight, no one had ever really guessed that he was brighter than anyone realized it. Plus, it wasn’t like anyone had ever asked about his exam results in the past, and even if they had, he had always said ‘I get by’, which was far from the truth, well, as far as straight O’s was concerned.
Of course, having Rose along with any conversation had always meant that she would take over whatever that were discussed and made it all about her. It was to be expected that Louis wasn’t at all surprised when Rose chimed in with her protests that he couldn’t help but grin at her reaction. “I’m sure he did,” Louis said, sounding amused with every minute passed. Revenge was never the things that Louis liked to associate himself with, for one, it could only led to more harm than he would like to face. “Wait, did I hear that right?” Louis asked, sounded rather surprised and amused for the first time. “That Malfoy actually bested you at something?” He added, still very amused, making a mental note to congratulate the boy one of these days. Not everyone could best Rose even if they try; there must be something of which Scorpius had said that got to her. “Yes, we know you are Rose,” He added, almost bored with Rose stating the obvious. “And I’m sure you’ll do well, at least you’d beat Malfoy to it,” He added, he wasn’t at all into the house rivalry thing, but if Rose was so eager to beat Scorpius in class, Louis wouldn’t mind cheering for her. She was, after all, his cousin. “Hmm... Oddly enough, I’ve never had any issues with Professor Malfoy,” Louis said thoughtfully at the mention of favoritism. There was only a number of Professors known to be the parent of a student, in fact, from what Louis could remember, there was only one student who had a mother who happened to be a Professor; Scorpious.
“How about you, Jules?” Louis turned his attention back to Juliet. Knowing Rose, she would simply make it all about her again, still, if there were three of them involved with the conversation, it would be unwise to let anyone else feel left out.
