Korus laid in a bed in the Dai Llewellyn Ward. He had bean rushed into St. Mungo's Hospital a couple nights ago. On the full moon he had bean coming back from quidditch practice when out of no where he had bean attacked and dragged into the forest. The werewolf had torn him up pretty bad. by the time he had gotten a hold of his wand and stunned the werewolf his left arm thankfully not his wand arm was torn up badly he had a scratch down his face from the werewolve's claws and his right leg was busted. by the time he had dragged himself painfully back out of the forest he had lost allot of blood and was ready to pass out. Thankfully one of the teachers had bean out for a walk and found him before it was to late. They had rushed him to St. Mungo's and healed his broken leg and cuts and what not. But there was only so much he could do. He had heard them whispering that he would have to register with the ministry. It angered him so much. Why hadn't they allowed him to just die. He balled a bunch of the sheets in his fist and bit his lip. What was going to happen to him now? Was his family going to even want him any more. They had always said werewolves where filthy creatures that should be killed. And since his parents have not bean to see him they must think the same thing of him. "Why couldn't the damn teacher just let him die," he screamed at the top of his lungs.

Dominique stood with her back to the wall, outside the Korus' hospital room. She was breathing hard, eyes shut, trying not to hear the screams. Guilt did not consume her, as it might some others. She had been faced with a choice. If left to someone else, Korus might not have survived. She knew he hated what he would become, but he'd have to face it. Things were changing, maybe not fast enough, but they were better than they were twenty years ago. He'd adjust. He'd move on. He had to. Continuing this battle in her head, her breathing quickened as memories of that night came unbidden. Scent of fear, running footsteps, screams. Blood, so much blood. She licked her lips, then wiped them absently before biting down on her hand. Horrified, she stopped before drawing blood, the pain snapped her out of her reverie. What was happening to her? She was human, damn it. She wasn't some kind of cannibal, not a monster. Horrified, she began to panic and pant, and slapped her hand back over her mouth tightly to mask the noise. Whimpering, she slid down the wall, heedless of her skirt riding up, of how her legs were resting at such odd angles, and how her hair dragged down the wall, of her blouse tightening as she slid to the floor and how it pulled out of her waistband. She wasn't a monster, she just wasn't.

Tears where on the brink of running down Korus's face as he shook his head. He would kill the person who attacked him if he ever found out who it had bean. He would pay for what he did. Korus gritted his teeth and punched his pillow. He stopped when he heard someone breathing hard. She swung his feet over the bed quietly and paused when it stopped. Was someone listening and watching him? His fear turned into an angry sneer. He whipped around the corner and stood over the girl. "What are you doing here? Why where you watching me?" He grabbed her wrist and looked down on her. Recognition came over him and he let go. "Dominique? What are you doing her. Where you attacked as well?" He looked her over for a scar or anything but saw nothing. Korus was a year older than Dominique but he had a crush on her for the past year. He just hadn't wanted to say anything.
Bending down Korus looked her in the eyes. "Did I hurt you? If I did i am sorry Dominique it just made me angry to think someone was spying on me. If I had known it was you I wouldn't of attacked you like that." He stood up and held his hand up to help her up. He had hopped he hadn't hurt her. But if he had it was to late now.

Dominique jumped as Korus startled her grabbing at her. Her first reaction was to glare, she didn't allow just anyone to get that close to her, but she stopped short of snatching her wrist back. It took her a split second to adjust and she forced herself to look up at him, rubbing herself where his fingers had been just a moment before. The red angy scar, forever a reminder of what she had done, something so visible, left her disgusted with herself. She'd never be able to face him again and pretend she was blameless. She had done this. He wasn't the first person she had attacked, but he was the first one she had bitten. And there would be others, she held no illusions about that. Slowly she reached up to touch reddened skin, but pulled her hand back before making contact. She reached up to him and let him pull her up, and busied herself with adjusting her clothes. Anything to do to avoid looking at him and seeing the pain so clearly in his eyes. "No. I wasn't attacked; you haven't hurt me. I heard about what happened and came to see if you were alright. And bring your books and assignments." Dominique spoke slowly to the older boy, gesturing to the bag at her feet, her surface reason for being there.
"You should be out in a few days, I didn't think you'd want to fall behind. You shouldn't be out of bed now, what would the healers say?" she reached down and slung the bag over her shoulder, and moved to take it to his bedside.

Korus watched as Dominique reached to touch the red scar left from his attack and drew back. He grew angry but not with her. Because of that where what wizard would want to touch him let alone be around him any more. Dominique must be disgusted about what he was going to become. If only there was a cure for this than he could tell Dominique about his true feelings for her, and not worry about seeing disgust or hatred on her face. It would break his heart to see that on her beautiful face. Korus waited while she straightened her closed. She looked really nice for just a hospital visit. Maybe she had business to do after wards or was meeting up with a boyfriend for lunch.
A smile spread across Korus's face as he listened to her. Her voice was soft and beautiful. He could listen to Dominique forever. "I am glad to hear you are all right. I would hate to hear you had to go through what I have to go through. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy." Though you are far from an enemy. "I appreciate the thought, but I doubt they will allow a werewolf to return to Hogwarts. Especially now with all the attacks going on." He looked around making sure no one was around. "I am planning on escaping. I'll tell the nurse I am heading to get registered and ask her not to tell anyone. I can't come back to Hogwarts and leave the chance I may attack another. I can't take the chance I just can't. So you see I won't need those assignments but i appreciate the thought. It was very.....sweet of you." He reached forward to gently brush a strand of hair out of Dominique but stopped with his arm half way to her.
"I'll be out sooner than a few days. I'm leaving tonight. I trust you Dominique. I know you won't tell anyone." He was terrified if he went back to Hogwarts he might attack someone. What scared him more was that the person he might attack is Dominique. He could never forgive himself if he hurt Dominique and made her into what he was.

Dominique forgot herself and clutched his arm desperately. "I can help you," she breathed into his ear. She had to stop him before he did something incredibly stupid, something that might incriminate her. Besides, the whole point of this was to either create agitation against the current laws, or to recruit. Would Korus turn to their side? She still wasn't entirely sure. But she had to find a way to get him to meet the pack leader, at least so he could feel Korus out, before any decisions were made. She knew at that point there would be two options that she could think of. Obliviate Korus, so that he had no memory of Dominique's visit, or bring him into the fold. "I know somoene that can help you! Just trust me! Go back to the school like everything is normal, I swear I can help fix this! Give me a few days, promise!" she hissed, frantic, she felt like everything would fall apart if he said the wrong thing. "I'll get back to you, I swear! Just go back to school!" she swore again, turning her head back and forth, but the corridors of this ward were empty. Before she could say anything else, something that could trip her up, she pulled her jacket tighter and began to run for the stairs, hoping to avoid the healers routine bed checks.

Korus's eye's never left Dominique's eye's. When she said she could help him hope lit up inside him. Dominique wanted to help him. He listened quietly as she spook. Was she saying she knew a werewolf who could help him? "But...," before he had a chance to say another word Dominique continued. God he loved listening to her. Ok I'll pretend everything is normal," he said softly as he watched her disappear. He would return to Hogwarts like she said. He went back to his bed and waited for the healer to return. When she came by he told her that he was going to go to the ministry to get registered than go back to school. He asked her not to say anything for she, Dominique and a few others where the only one's who knew about him. He wanted it to stay that way. He knew the Ministry of magic would need to know but he didn't want anyone else to know. Thankfully she promised and let him go.
