ooc: I'm making this before the full moon of 21/12 to make it a little easier for me... It's also a weekend...
It had taken James a while to finally work out where his father had hidden the map but during the previous summer holidays he had finally managed to break into his father's stash and make off with the marauder's map. He was annoyed that it had taken him this long to figure out precisely where his father had hidden it and, more importantly how to actually work it. His dad had always been rather vague as to how exactly the map worked. Therefore, James had taken this long to actually discover how to use it. As he examined the map he spied a few passages he had never really seen before. He'd known that a few passages led out of the school but most of the ones he found others knew about them. More importantly, a number of them were also blocked anyway as far as he was aware. That was yet another thing his parents seemed to stress. All the passages out of the castle were blocked. Yet, he was certain there was at least one that would allow him to get into Hogsmede somehow. It was not that he wanted to go as such but rather that he just wanted to do something else. It was a Saturday afternoon and James was thoroughly sick of studying for his OWLS. Not that he had been anyway...
He got off his bed, folded the map and placed it in his pocket then made his way out of his Dorm Room heading into the Common Room. He wanted to go with someone at least for now. It was hardly fun breaking the school rules on ones own anyway. It was even less fun to spend time in Hogsmede all alone. This was something he simply guessed. He would have to search for someone who would be interested in breaking the rules with him but his track record with being caught was a little higher than one would generally feel comfortable. Therefore, those whom would normally spend time with him often refused to be dragged into his hare-brained schemes. There was perhaps one who might go with him.
He paused in the door to the dormitory and looked around the Common Room searching for Rosaleen. He wasn't sure whether she would want to go but she tended to be one of the few who could almost stand his company. There were very few of those but he pushed those thoughts down and made his way into the Common Room looking for Rosaleen.

IT'S AN OBESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWSHappily ever after.'
[/color] She whispered closing her book and closing her eyes. She savored the moment of her fairy tail, and grinned in happiness. That was lovely, Beauty and the Beast. A story so beautiful that even Rosaleen herself couldn't help but wonder, was it really every going to happen? Shrugging she vanished the book back to it's rightful place with her wand. Getting up, she stretched. Her muggle jeans huged her nicely and her green muggle sweater was a little to big. She looked like a Christmas tree in the red common room. Turning to get another book from her dorm she turned as saw non other then James Potter. A sigh left her lips, but her grin was placed on her face in a second. She did like the boy, he was enjoyable if you wanted company, but he was annoying at times. Shrugging she walked over and looked at him closely. 'What are you doing James? She asked curiously. She was a curious girl, she liked to wiggle her way into things. But she did not like getting in trouble in front of others. Scratching the back of her neck in confusion she waited for her Gryffindor Friend to speak again. This could either be really good, or, very very very bad.
