IT'S AN OBSESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWS She looked up. The castle seemed colder then normal, but then again, she was only in a pair of PJs, a pair of old jogging pants and a white tank top with a red sweater over top. But to top it off, on her feet were big fluffy peguin slippers. She was tired of how the day had gone, coming back from Quidditch, and now, her muscles hurt. But she would not allow anyone to hear that. With her cook tucked neatly under her arm, and her wand in her hair, which was tied in a messy bun.
With a sigh, she looked about her. Although she was on a mission to get a snack, she was in no hurry. But she did feel like she was out of place in the area she had entered. Down here, was where the Hufflepuffs and the Slytherins roamed. But now, at nearly 8 at night, she had no idea what to do. Taking out her book she stepped off the stairs and looked around her. Seeing no one to trouble her she turned her book to the page she had left off, still walking, and continued down the hall way.
Stopping in front of the door she was looking for she turned the nob and entered, shoving only sightly to un-jam the door. When she entered she coughed slightly, still reading before flopping down into the crouch she had placed here on her first visit. Placing her book down on the small table before her, she took her wand out of her hair, which fell in waves on her back, and pointed the wand at the fireplace. 'Incendio'
She spoke the enchantment and the fire roared to life. Taking the hair tie from her wrist, she tied her hair into a messy pony-tail, with some stains fall onto her face. She huffed and when she failed to remove the hair, she snatched her wand and placed it behind her ear. She settled back into the crouch and took her book. Slowly beginning to read she smiled to herself. The characters were so beautifully made, and woven into the book. It was surprising that she wasn't in the book herself. She continued to read, unaware of dangers she could of possibly been in. She, thinking she had locked the door, had forgotten and was quick unaware of what could walk though. Holding her book with one hand she slipped off her red sweater, leaving her in her white tank-top and jogging pants. But she did not worry, no one would bother her. Looking at her page number, and then the fire, she sighed deeply. 'Ahh, I just love this book!' She said loudly. [/blockquote] OUTFIT CLICK[/blockquote]

Louis yawned. It was late and doing rounds was never his favourite thing to do. In fact, if he had any other choice, he would have bailed from actually filling in for the duty, unfortunately, after making up enough excuses only to be dismissed by the Head Boy, Louis had no choice but to boringly wander around the castle in the middle of the night trying to be a ‘prefect’, something of which he would never mention to James unless he wanted to risk being laughed at. James, at times like these Louis happened to be quite relieved that they are not in the same house. If he had been stuck in the same house as his cousin, who knew how long James would use the fact against him. Bored, Louis ended up yawning again, he took a glance at his watch, it was half past ten and no student should even be up at the hour unless they want to get caught and risking losing a point or more. Then again, it wasn’t even rare for students to be out of bed in the first place. Years after years, even Louis himself had done it, students would usually sneak out of bed just to get some food, at the end; it was more like a tradition for students to sneak away in the middle of the night.
The kitchen. Louis shot up; suddenly wide awake, remembering that it was the only place he had yet checked. Having been left with the last two floors and not to mention a seven storey climb for him, Louis dreaded the idea of even having to check the kitchen. He could remember the last time he was there. It was last year, the year before he was made prefect, the year he was worry free and had enjoyed sneaking around after hours, but now. Louis couldn’t help but groaned; he was annoyed indeed. Still, he had no choice but to finish his rounds, so, he turned to take the corridor that he knew so well that would lead him to the kitchen. However, before Louis could proceed any further, he heard a faint sound of someone walking. Curious, he changed his direction, knowing full well it couldn’t have been one of the prefects as it was his job to cover the area and not theirs. Louis listened attentively, following the steps, hearing a door creaked open, he quickened his steps. He could hear a faint sound of a girl’s voice talking, but to whom?
Unable to stop himself, Louis pushed open the door only to find a girl sitting by herself with a book in his hand. Surprised, Louis took a minute to recover. “Isn’t it a little late for you to be wandering around?” He said as soon as he managed to gather his thoughts. Though Louis had to say what he had to say, he couldn’t help but felt a little envious of the girl for being able to break the rules while his rule breaking era was a thing of the past.

IT'S AN OBESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWS'Isn't it a little late for you to be wandering around?' The new comer said loudly, and Rosaleen jumped enough to fall onto the floor in a mixture of fear and surprise. Her book and even been thrown out of her hand in surprise, and so with that, did her page become lost to her memory. She turned her head towards her intruder and notice a boy, more in likely her age, standing at the door.
'I thought the door was locked.'
The words had left her mouth before she could even think about them. She had climbed to her feet and looked at the boy from the distances. Why was he if he was asking her that question .. oh shit .. a perfect! Looking about her, she reached for her wand and stopped mid reach to look at the perfect boy. She gave a suddenly daring look and crossed her arms, wand still in her messy hair. 'Actually, I am not wandering around. I am in fact sitting in a room.' She said softly, looking at the perfect, still un-able to figure out who he was. If he was her age, then would he of been in her classes? If so did she know him? Questions she didn't have an answer to. Looking about for her book, she spotted it behind the crouch. Growling in her throat, she crawled over the crouch to retrieve it, before crawling back onto the crouch. Tapping the table with her wand, she had taken from her hair, she turned to the boy and tilted her head. 'Well there are a few books here,' She begain pointing to the table where she had stacked two other books, both of which were muggle stories. 'If you like to sit for a bit.' Shrugging she sat back down. There was no way in hell she was going back to the common room now. 'Go ahead and take some points if you wish, I still won't be going back to the Gryffindor common room yet.'[/blockquote] ooc ;; damn you lemon/louis[/blockquote]

Not the respond Louis was looking for, but then again, he wasn’t expecting the girl to actually have a respond in the first place. “Looked like it wasn’t,” Louis said, almost too boringly. Still, he felt like he needed to prove that the door wasn’t really locked in the first place, so, he took a step back, pretending to check to see whether the door was previously locked. “Nope, definitely wasn’t,” He said again, after fiddling with the lock. He turned his attention back towards the girl after a few moments with his gaze fixated on her face. A familiar face, someone he had seen before at least once. But, as it turned out, no one of importance to him that he couldn’t quite recall where he had seen her and what her name was making it quite difficult for him to deduct any points because he couldn’t even tell which house she was even in. Louis opened his mouth to asked, however, the girl beat him as she uttered another word that caused him to chuckle. Of course, he couldn’t help but thought that it was a good comeback. One of those rare comebacks that couldn’t very well come from a Slytherin, well, except from a handful of them.
“My bad,” Louis said, grinning slightly. It was probably a completely unorthodox way to coo someone into talking about oneself, but, Louis wasn’t too particular about it. “I should have been more precise,” He added with lingering grin. He was getting amused by the minute, the girl was definitely something or rather Louis hadn’t come across anyone who’d challenge a prefect before, not as long as he had been a prefect himself. And then, he couldn’t help but found himself rather surprised, an invitation for him to break a rule. That wasn’t what he would expect the outcome should be, alas, he was tempted. The idea of ditching his responsibility to read wasn’t a bad proposal after all. He watched as she shrugged and found the seat once again. Still, very amusing in Louis’ opinion that he felt that he should at least make a comment. Alas, he was beaten to the punch by the girl as she quickly declared which house she was from and her conviction. Unable to stop from laughing, Louis let out a hearty laugh. “A Gryffindor, I should have guessed,” He said simply with traces of laughter accompanying his every word.
“That boldness, no one would be crazy enough to stand up to a prefect,” Louis commented, taking a step into the room, finally. “Well, except for a Gryffindor,” He added, now leaning on the wood panel build around the doorway.

IT'S AN OBESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWSHe started to laugh and she felt her own soft laughter join in, stoppin when he basically repeated her house name. 'A Gryffindor, I should of guessed.' She rolled her eyes and put her nose in her book again. Her eyes still filled with the silent laughter she held in, she turned to look up at the boy. 'That boldness, no one would be crazy enough to stand up to a perfect,' She was about to correct him.
She knew perfectly well, that a few other student would stand up to perfects. They just weren't as bold as she had been, she guessed. 'Well, expcept for a Gryffindor.' Shaking her head she grinned and looked straight at the boy. He did look familiar. Maybe someone that had helped with a potion of hers. She couldn't remember all the people that had helped her, and she was usually put with students who could actually make the potion.
'So if I am not mistaken, then you must know a few Gryffindors to get that judgement. You don't appear to be older then myself, so maybe you have a family member in my house? Or friends at that.
Pondering over the possible facts. She took her wand and placed in on her lip, thinking. Shrugging again she looked at her book, flipping through the pages till she found her page. 'Have you ever read Lord of the Rings, it's and old muggle book.'Shrugging she sighed deeply. This was not going to work. She was stiff again, and no longer in the mood to relax. 'Your going to give my hiding place away come in and close the door, or get out and close the door.' [/blockquote] ooc ;; no intention of hurting feelings! or was there? >D jkjk[/blockquote]

Another grin betrayed Louis’ composed face. It was a good guess. “Louis Weasley,” Louis said simply, introducing himself knowing that it wouldn’t make much a difference if the girl even knew his name and that he didn’t even know hers, alas, he could always figure it out later. “You’ve probably met my cousin, James Potter,” He added, mentioning James’ name. True, he had other cousins in Gryffindor, heck, even his eldest sister was, but, when it came to bold and down right a complete troublemaker only one name came to mind – James. Of course, it also meant that James was far better known than he was as well. Perhaps, well, just maybe, the girl had heard of James. Still, after mentioning James’ name Louis couldn’t help but thought that it was probably a bad idea to associate himself with James, maybe he should have mentioned Albus or Lily instead or even his eldest sister as a former Gryffindor.
“The Lord of what?” Louis asked as he watched the girl turned the pages of the book that was in her hand. Growing up in the Wizarding World, Louis was one of those who had been ignorant about the Muggle World, even when he does have an Uncle who was raised in a Muggle World and an Aunt who was a muggleborn. “Honestly?” He added, phrasing a simple word as a question. “I’ve never even heard of it,” He continued. There was no shame in admitting that he had not heard of a book or two, there were probably thousands or even billions of books out there that he had never even heard of. “I sort of grew up reading books about potions and others,” Louis added, refusing to highlight the fact that he was a pureblood and the last thing he would read was probably a muggle book as it would be considered as one of those rare things for a wizard to read. However, he wouldn’t mind finding the time to flip through the book.
Louis was about to open his mouth again, but like before, the girl beaten him to it causing him to laugh again. “Alright, alright,” Louis said as he moved away from the doorway and stepped further into the room after he closed down the door. “Hang on,” Louis stopped in his track, he turned his back and face the door again, taking his wand out of his robe, “Colloportus,” He said simply, a few clicking sound followed. “Well, just in case,” Louis said, as he turned back to face the girl and took the other empty seat that was in the room.

IT'S AN OBESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWS'Louis Weasley.' One of the famous Weasley. She chuckled to herself. 'You've probably met my cousin, James Potter,' She bursted out in laughter then, holding the book to her chest. 'I remember you Louis, you helped me with a potion back in fourth year remember? I was the only one who could make it into a glue mixture with just a touch.'
She sighed and grinned again, after her laughing fit. 'Also, no offence to your family, but James can be a tad annoying. Same year and all.' She still had forgotten to mention her name. 'The lord of what?' Louis seemed to speak with confusion and she sighed heavely. Come on! Didn't wizards know ANYTHING! Huffing she flashed him the book before returning to her page.
'Honestly?' She nodded. 'I've never even heard of it,' She rolled her eyes, but she looked deeper into the book. 'I sort of grew up reading books about potions and others.' She smiled a secret smile. 'Well I grew up with the thoughts of magic being real, but not like the magic we own. Where witches were cruel, and princess were always needing rescuse. Where a prince charming may come and steal her away.' She sighed.
'Well, that means you have to try this book sometime, I am almost done. Then I have to read the second book!' She added, looking at her book, reading a page or so. As he said something along the lines of alright and hang on. She grinned when she heard the spell colloportus, and nodded as he said, 'Well, just in case.' She nodded again, a bigger grin on her face.
'Here take this book, it's called Lord of the Flies, it's a good book as well,
She began. 'Names Rosaleen Andrews.' She added, placing her wand back in her hair so it would not be lost. She had placed the book, Lord of the Flies, into Louis's lap. 'Now, Mr. Anti-Muggle, why don't you caught up starting from that book, or I can give you some of the books that involve vampires.' Would she tell him that the vampire book she had, was named Twilight? That the vampires sparkled? No. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Fourth Year and Potions. That does ring a bell, Louis ransacked his brain quickly, and trying to recall the girl’s name. “Yeah, I called you Gryffindor,” Louis said simply, the truth was, he never did learn the girl’s name though, he knew that he had gotten the right girl since as she was the only girl he had to help get through a Potion class during his Fourth Year. “Yeah, I remember that now,” He added, grinning slightly. It was an interesting class, something of which he never thought he would forget, but he did. Still, no one could really blame him, as soon as the new school year started; Louis life had changed almost too dramatically for his liking. First, he was stuck being a prefect and then he ended up being on the bad side of everyone. It just wasn’t his year, but he wasn’t going to complain. Louis had to suppress a laugh at the girl’s comment about James, it was not unusual for him to hear a number of people – mostly girls whining and complaining about James’ tactlessness. Needless to say, it wasn’t exactly news. Though, Louis couldn’t help himself from wanting a little laugh, so, “James annoying?” He said, pulling the best offended look he could muster and held it for a few moment, looking as if the girl had indeed upset him.
“No, I’m just kidding,” Louis said after he let a few moment past and broke into a laugh. “Yeah, we can all agree James can be somewhat of a troublemaker,” He added, nodding with a semi-serious expression as the smile hadn’t quite left his lips. “Probably took after his late grandfather or so I was told,” He continued, as he scanned the room. Of course, Louis still couldn’t quite forget the story of James running into Victoire and Teddy kissing as he had heard all of it. Enough said, James most definitely know how to make an entrance and leave a mark. “So,” Louis began as he listened to the girl finishing her last word regarding what kind of story she grew up with. “You’re still waiting for your Prince Charming?” He asked with a teasing tone as another smile visited his face, a cheeky smile that made him look like trouble, the kind of smile that was rare for Louis to show, alas, on special occasions, he would make some exceptions. It was a strange custom, but, perhaps there are lessons to be learned from the stories, something only a girl could see. Still, that doesn’t mean that Louis couldn’t at least tease the girl about it.
Louis listened as the girl spoke of the book that she was reading. Apparently, he was not the only avid reader there was, amused he could only simply nodded at every word. “I’ll take your word for it,” Louis said as he finally when the girl placed the book onto his lap. “Rosaleen Andrews,” He added, repeating the girl’s name after she had introduced herself. So, that was her name. Louis thought, but he couldn’t dwell further into how he had never learned of her name when she called him an Anti-Muggle causing him to laugh. It was amusing as no one who knew him would call him such, a little ignorant over the muggle way of life, yes, anti, never. “I think we have enough stories about Vampires in the Wizarding World as it is,” Louis said as his laughter subsided. “Still, I will read this book,” He added with a small smile.

IT'S AN OBESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWS'You're still waiting for your Prince Charming?' She snorted and covered her mouth. Closing her eyes she thought about it. Yes she was waiting for her Prince Charming. She looked at her book, and studied it for a moment before bending the page a little at the top, closing the book she snatched up the next book. A book on old fairy tails. She placed it on her lap and moved closer to Louis.
Brushing her lose hair from her face she looked at Louis and grinned. 'I think we have enough stories about Vampires in the Wizarding World as it is,' She nodded, she knew. 'Yah, but the muggle version makes the vampires seem like nice vampires and they can go into the sun, they sparkle like fairies.' She chuckled heartly. She said opening the Fairy Tale book too the story of Beauty and the Beast.
'I loved this story, cause it shows you have to look into the person, not the appearance, to find true love.' She traced her finger over the beast, remembering the video it had been in the muggle world. She had watched the video a million times it seemed and she still loved how it went. On her mp3 player at home she had the song 'beauty and the beast' and she played it non-stop.
'Yeah, you'll like Lord of the Flies, it's great but you might not like it.' She shrugged and looked down at the title tracing it. It had been her grandmother's book, so the pages were old, but still in good condition. She had since used magic to fix it. The title had bumps, used for those who were blind. She grinned. Her nanny's face flashed before her eyes.
'Hey we ave potions together right? Do you think you can help me?' She asked, thinking, biting her lip and looking sad. She didn't want to be pushy. 'I mean, when you get the time, I just really am no good, and no one seems to want to help me.'
She wanted to add because she sucked at it. Right out sucked. [/blockquote] ooc ;; yeah same here xD I like Harry potter, and then I am a huge fan of the house of night and other small books like that (manga and crap). twilight was killing me, but my friends made me read and watch it.[/blockquote]

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Rosaleen was one of the girls that she talked about, the ones that were waiting for her Prince Charming. It was strange to hear from a girl coming from the house of the brave, but, maybe all girls have their soft spot and Rosaleen was no exception. Still, seeing Rosaleen wasn’t discussing the matter anyone, Louis decided to drop the play. It wasn’t wrong to dream of something, even if it was impossible. Though, he hard remembered hearing a say that stated; if you believe in it enough, it will come true eventually. Maybe, just maybe, it would come true for Rosaleen. Her statement about how Vampires were viewed in the Muggle world, however, left Louis feeling a little amused. “Maybe they have a special type of sun block,” Louis joked, laughing dryly at the lack of humor in his own words. The idea of a nice vampire, that was amazingly hilarious to Louis. True, vampires could co-exist with normal human beings, but calling them nice would probably be a bad idea as humans are nothing but prey to them. “And perhaps the writer of those stories had never really met a real vampire before,” He added, now thinking how amusing it would be if the author would somehow find a chance to meet a real life vampire, maybe then they would change their mind about romanticizing the creature.
True love, a topic of which Louis thought was dropped came up again. He watched as Rosaleen traced her finger on a book over a beastly looking being. “Have you met my mom and dad?” Louis said before he could stop himself, though, he wasn’t sure his parents could be compared to the story or anything of which Rosaleen was thinking nor he dared to pretend that he knew anything about it in the first place. On the other hand, it wasn’t exactly a secret; the fact about Bill Weasley’s scared face from when he was attacked by a werewolf, leaving his face hacked and scared for life and his mother, Fleur Weasley, part Veela, her beauty was too, not a secret. “I used to be scared of my dad when I was a kid,” He added, smiling slightly, remembering how hard it was for him to get used to his own father when he was only a child as stomaching Bill Weasley’s appearance was never easy. “He’s cool though,” Louis added with a reassuring smile. Bill Weasley, as everyone knew him, was a kinder man than he had appeared to be. Those who had known him before he was scared for life had even gone as far as claiming as he had never changed. Then again, being a curse-breaker, there were very few normal acquaintances to speak for him in the first place.
“I’ll let you know,” Louis replied as the conversation shifted its course yet again. He flipped open the first page of the book, reading through the first few line before closing it back. It wasn’t such a bad book; it was different, but not bad. “I believe we do,” Louis said, grinning slightly. It was early in the school year and no one had been paired up for difficult potions just yet, but, if he had remembered it right, Rosaleen could use all the help she could get. “Yeah, sure, I’ll help you out,” He added sincerely, before pocketing the book that Rosaleen had lent to him. “Just name the time and place,” He continued.
ooc; i used to read twilight, but i loose interest after the second book. it was just too much of vampire aghast and bella was getting on my nerve. never read lord of the flies either...

IT'S AN OBESSION THE WAY I FEEL .. THE DEVIL'S GOT MY SOUL LOCKED IN ON YOU. ROSALEEN ANDREWS'Maybe they have a special type of sun block,' She shooked her head, meaning no. 'And perhaps the writer of those stories had never really met a real vampire before.' Grinning she shrugged and spoke softly. "Actually, she never met a vampire, the muggles have a weird mind when you think about it." She knew what she was talking about. Shrugging again she played with her air to ease her tention.
'Have you met my mom and dad?' Rosaleen shook her head but looked on as Louis spoke again about his parents. 'I used to be scared of my dad when I was a kid.' She knew he didn't mean it in a funny way, but it was kinda funny, and related to her. "My grandpa used to scare me! He used to pop his teeth out and say that we live to easy now-a-days. Back in his day he had to work his arse off for a nice buck or two." Muggle terms. Oh well. She grinned at the memory!
'He's cool though,' Rosaleen nodded. "I bet he is, maybe I will meet him someday!" She didn't mean as in him take her to his dad, but actually maybe when she worked out in the world and came across a red head weasley. 'I'll let you know,' Rosaleen looked on as Louis read the first page and shrugged again. 'I believe we do,' Rosaleen sighed happily, her shoulders relaxed. A friend in that class! 'Yeah, sure I'll help you out,' He added and pocketed the book. Rosaleen leaned against the back of the couch.
"thank god," She whispered before he spoke again. 'Just name the time and the place.' He spoke and she grinned deeply. "I suck at Potions, so I'll owl you I guess, if you need help in DADA, I'll gladly help. My best class other then Charms." She spoke loudly, and proud. She was excited to share some good news about herself!

Louis grinned, he wanted to agree, but he couldn’t as he had little to no knowledge at all when it came to muggle literature. He had, of course, heard of the stories they have from time to time and had taken the Muggle Studies class, however, none could really explain the extreme fascinations that muggle had on certain creatures that the Wizarding World had deemed to be dangerous or deadly. Still, the image of his grandfather popped into his head, nearly causing Louis to laugh. Arthur Weasley, well, perhaps Louis could at some level understand being around the people who had high level of interest in something of which they could barely understand. “Well, I haven’t read any of the books from the muggle world,” Louis said finally. He had no reason to be secretive about the type of books he does read as to him; it could never truly define his train of thoughts. “But, I’ll read some and will get back to you,” He added, with a small grin plaster across his face, recalling the bookshop that stood just across the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron.
“Popped his teeth?” Louis asked, his eyebrows were furrowed, a little confused as to what Rosaleen was trying to say. In short, Louis could very well admit that Rosaleen’s statement had left him baffled. However, the conversation was again moving through fast that Louis didn’t have much time to ponder of the relevance of Rosaleen’s statement. “Well, if we ever bump into each other in Diagon Alley before the start of the term to buy some school supplies, you would,” Louis stated simply, it wasn’t like Louis to assume, he would rather just take things literally and not look for hidden motives behind someone’s words. It was not unusual for him to go to Diagon Alley with his father accompanying him even when he noticed how many heads would turn as his father walked through the crowd. “He stood out, really,” He added, grinning again, thinking that it was pretty hilarious that people would stop and stare and his father would just simply walk by as if the world didn’t seem to matter much to him.
Louis’ eyebrows furrowed again as he heard Rosaleen being thankful of his offer of help, it was not unusual for Louis to hear the term around his family members when he offered to help, but it had always been something else when an outsider muttered it. “It’s a deal,” Louis said simply, not declining or accepting Rosaleen’s offer all at once even when Louis knew that he would probably not be needing any help in either of the subject mentioned by Rosaleen.
