Molly walked into the Library. She had a pile of books in her arms that were so high that she definetly thought that they would fall onto someone. Luckily she made it over to an empty table without dumping them on anyone. She then organized them on the table so that they were all in their indivual subject piles. She then sat down and pulled over her astronomy book. She was quite excited to be doing her astronomy homework, it really was the only one of her classes that she was enjoying. It was also her best mark, that was probably due to the fact that she studied the most for that class of them all. She then took a quill and some ink out of her bag so that she could begin to actually do her homework. Most of the homework which she'd brought with her to do wasn't due until after the christmas break, but she did really want to finish it before she went home so that she could leave the house and visit her friends as much as she wanted, instead.

Scab had to admit, he was feeling a bit bored, which was the only reason he could think of as to why he was even in the library to begin with. There was only one person he could think of off the top of his head that could be here, and that was reason enough for his appearence. After knocking into a few first years he finally spotted her, the grin on his face widdening. Her nerdiness gave her an unusal appeal and for years had driven him to bother and persist her. She was hot, how could he help himself? After taking in the picture he finally decided to swagger forward, landing into the empty chair beside her, grabbing the book from her hand effortlessly.
"Astronomy?" he questioned, looking from the textbook to Molly as if she were out of her mind "I bet I could think of something a little more interesting the two of us could do instead?.." he smiled, " eh? whaddya say?"

Molly blinked her eyes a few times when her booked got snatched right from her hands. She looked up very slowly from the table and groaned a little as she saw Scab. "Yeah, sure. Can I have my book back please? Now." Molly said softly. She just kind of stared at him for a moment as she patiently waited for him to give her book back to her. Molly was definetly not in the mood to talk to him. "I enjoy Astronomy more then pretty much anything, I think I"ll stick to reading," Molly said simply. Molly then looked around the room trying to find some reason for her to be able to leave... There was no reason at all.
Molly looked at her hand again, realizing she needed to paint her nails before she went to bed that night. She would have to do that later... After she finished studying.

Geoffrey had partially hoped that she'd try and snatch the book back, he thought it could be a little amusing to play keep away for a bit. Possibly 'accidentally' brush up against her in the process and maaybe get a feel. It was a possibility, a pissed woman typically acted first before thinking. His ears wiggled a bit in confusion at the request. Please?... Was he hearing right, or did she just ask politely? This had to mean only one thing... he was growing on her! "Maybe we could catch the stars tonight up on the roof.. and maybe more" he mumbled the last bit under his breath. He had a chance now, what with her suddenly being nice, and it was corny enough for her to be interested what with her interest in the galaxy or whatever.
"What was it uh-- the little dipper?" he scratched his head with her book, trying to think of a star that might be out tonight. Astronomy wasn't his best subject.. not that he was great at any one subject but.. he had a tendency of falling asleep easily through the lessons held up on the roof.

Molly looked up at Geoffrey and groaned slightly. "Give me my book now." Molly said simply. She was not standing for it, Molly was usually a tolerant person, but not that day. She wouldn't stand for him taking her books. Molly stared at her hands for a moment or two more and then looked over at Geoffrey. "I will not go up on the roof with you... especially not alone," Molly looked over at him simply. She held out her hand and said simply, "Can you give me my book back now!" She was refusing to take it. Molly sighed and waited simply and glared at him with extreme fury.
"It doesn't matter what it was" Molly said simply and glared at him. He was... kind of cute, but she didn't really want to talk to him. Molly then began to doodle on her book as to try and ignore him.

"Ouch.. that hurts." he pouted, looking at her with a saddened look. "Here I thought I could share my fascination of the planet with you. What with the clear skies we'd be having tonight and all.." he added in a defeated tone, hoping to pick at her curiousity. To be honest, he really had no clue if the skies were clear or even if it'd rain. Though it didn't hurt to try. Admittedly, he'd had some progress with her over his years of persistence. Atleast now he was able to chat with her, unlike in the past where she used to just walk away or ignore him completely. Still... Taking the next step was proving to be more difficult than he'd imagined.
Feeling bored at her persistence of getting the book back by just asking, he dropped it into her hand and leaned back in his chair, outstretching his arms widely before placing one arm casually around the back of her chair. He looked at her with mild interest, attempting to distract herself from him. It was cute how she attempted to deny her attraction to him, what other reason would she have for doodling?

Molly just looked over at him and rolled her eyes. Okay, sure she was going to go onto the roof with him, yeah right. There was no way. What was he even thinking. Not that Molly really had anywhere else to go, or anyone else to be with. Molly looked over at him for the longest moment. But she also knew that if she kind of did want to go and hangout with him. She looked over at him simply. She wanted her book back and she wanted it back right then. She really did want to just read her book and ignore him. She just kind o f glared at him and looked out the window and stared at her book that she was doodling in.
Molly gave a little nod of thanks when he finally gave her, her book back and then went to lean back before noticing his arm going around her chair. She then looked over at him and glared. She just ignored his arm and then went back to reading her book instead of paying attention to the fact that his arm was around her chair. She really did not feel like putting up with this anymore then she wanted to put up with him being there in the first place.

Geoffrey couldn't resist letting out the loud sigh. He wanted to have fun, but now he was starting to feel like he had done something to piss her off without being aware of it. This silent treatment thing was starting to make him feel a bit uncomfortable. Unless maybe... his breath smelled? He racked his brain trying to think of if he ate something funky for breakfast. But the only thing he seemed to remember doing that day was tripping some hufflepuff down the stairs. He laughed to himself, recalling the way the thing rolled down the stairs... Good times good times. What was he thinking about again? Oh right.. that.
As casually as he could do so, he covered his mouth and breathed in trying to see if maybe his breath smelled, but it wasn't nothing out of the ordinary. In fact smelled a bit minty on account of him just getting up not long ago. Maybe it was just that time of the month for her? "uh...." he attempted to break the silence that was persisting in the air. "Maybe I could get my mate up there with us then?" he offered. Though he was sure he'd have this so called friend 'vanish' when it came down to looking at the stars. It wasn't often that he had a chance to be alone with Molly, and he wasn't about to have it ruined by some pest.
"It'd be ashame to miss that er-- star thing." he added in an attempt to convince her.

Molly looked over at him simply. She wasn't too happy that he was still there. She then continued to read her book not really wanting to talk to him. She just ignored the sigh and just stared down at her book continuing to read. She then flipped the page of her book and read another page. She then looked up at him. Wondering what his day had been like. She had been having a kind of crappy day, she really wanted to read and not think about her day.
Molly looked over at her book again and read another 3 pages before he broke the silence. "Don't you understand that I don't... really want to go on the roof with you..." Molly said and groaned. "I go and look at the stars every night, alone. Its my time to think okay?" She said and then looked over at him. Molly then looked over at him, and just groaned and looked at her book again to continue her reading. She didn't want to be around him right then.

Scab made a mental note to himself to go looking for her some night and accidentally bump into her while stargazing. "arright arright no need to get your panties in a knot" he grumbled a little annoyed. He'd have to try and take her out on that offer another time since clearly right now it wasn't working as well as he had hoped it would. Something was peeving her and he refused to believe it was him. Because...well.. How could anyone be annoyed by him. It was just nonsense to him really. Geoffrey sat back, hoping the tension would fade just a bit while he attempted to gain some sort of idea what he could talk about next. In all honesty he had little to nothing in common with her. He wondered if he should start reading one of these days.. but the thought of wasting his time during winter break reading left an unpleasant taste in his mouth.
Didn't they say opposites attract anyway? So he still had hope. He drummed his fingers against the back of her chair, attempting to think of something to say that she wouldnt bite his head off for. .... It was proving to be more difficult than he imagined "Soo... " he stretched out the word, trying to find the right words. "er... did something happen?" Somehow he felt those probably weren't the best words to ask... ah well. Couldn't be helped now, atleast he had winter break to rely on erasing her memory of any annoyances he may cause.

Molly wasn't particularly in the mood to even think about anything. She then flipped another page and continued to read her book. She finished the chapter which she was on. She then closed her book and looked over at him noting the fact that he seemed to be a little... on the side of giving up. She was noticing the fact that he'd just leaned back in his chair. Molly then looked back at her book trying to decide whether or not she wanted to continue reading. She then stared at her book again. She looked around again and stared at it for a long moment.
Molly then put her book down on the table when he asked her if something happened. She looked over at him. "It hasn't been the best day... to say the least" she said softly. She then looked over at him simply and said, "Well," she then stopped and looked over at him, "Why do you care if something happened?" She then picked up her book and opened it again and trying to decided if she should continue to read or not.

Geoffrey noticed her hesitation of reading more, it was obvious she had something on her mind. He could tell it was becoming difficult for her to continue ignoring him for long, who could? He grinned to himself in much satisfaction, it was about time too seeing as he was just about to leave if she had continued to read. He usually accepted defeat like a man... well.. he would have beat his frustrations out on some twat but other than that, typically he was very manly about it. She seemed to take to staring at him alot, he just looked back at her, waiting for whatever she had on her mind. For the most part he wasn't a mind reader, but he was pretty sure she might be thinking something along the lines of how handsome he was... or considering the offer of being alone on the roof together. Why else would she be staring so much?
"Why do I care?" he stammered, a little taken back "Do you really need to ask that? How many years have we known each other? Of course im concerned if something or someone is bothering you" he added. Emphasizing on the someone part. Hell if anyone gave his Molly trouble they'd really face his wrath. Didn't they know she was offlimits? Tch. It seemed he'd have to go around reinforcing the idea again. He hoped he wouldn't get thrown into too many detentions. "Seriously though" he added, putting his hand on her book and pushing it onto the table, looking at her seriously. He really didn't want anyone messing with her if she was going to end up in a foul mood.

Molly sat there trying to decide whether or not she was going to say anything. She hadn't really been having that horrible of a day, its not like she'd failed any tests or assignments which would have really put a damper on her day. But she hadn't had that happen. It felt like that was what the problem was.
Molly looked up at him as he stammered, she was quite surprised that he was stammering about this. "Well... You see... There was this guy today, and he, well he was really bugging me. He was just... bugging me in class. Its really no big deal" Molly said softly and then looked down at her hand. She still could believe how serious he actually was about finding out what was wrong with her. Even if they had known each other for a while she really didn't think that he actually cared... that much at least. Molly looked over at him with a quite confused look.

Scab's eyes narrowed as he listened to her. She seemed hesitant.. embarrased. Which only infuriated him further. Those two were never a good combo, after years of experience of causing either of the two onto innocent passerbys. He knew enough to know that she was either hesitant because she had a crush on this git, OR embarrased cause the bloody bastard did something to her. "Does this guy have a name?" he asked, there was a hint of irritation in his voice. Geoffrey was going to have to beat some sense into that idiot. But for the mean time, he racked his brain for any possible people who might have annoyed her. Since they were both in the same year it was likely he knew the bloke, which only made his hatred grow further. Who did that dumb bastard think he was if he thought he was goign to get away with messing with his things?

Molly looked over at Geoffrey. She then looked around for a moment, "It was that tyler guy" she said simply. She could feel her eyes filling with tears and immediatley looked away from Geoffrey. She didn't want to think of the names that, that guy had called him. It was just horrible. Molly was not one that usually got made fun of very much. But people did tend to tease her about being smart. Which although she was, she hated being bugged about. Even if it was true... She had just answered a question in class and he'd muttered something under his breath about her. But she'd heard it.. It had just spurred from there. It wasn't her fault. She had known the answer that was it.
