The weekend was finally here and it was early but no one was in the great hall she was listening to some music on the small radio that she placed and then table as she twirled around the room. No one was around so why was she not take the changes to have a little fun. Sometime though Lauren would wondered why she was place into Ravenclaw was it because she liked the color blue or what it for other reason. The pop music was going fun blasts and then this really sad song that she loved but other found it to be really sad started to play.
Lauren moving and now that she thought about it she was stand on the Gryffindor table as she twirled herself around a bit. And The World Turned by The Gabe Dixon Band was playing she loved the song everything about it. Was sad but she didn’t know why she loved it maybe cause if that would happen to her she would jump. Lauren didn’t feel like love was a really think she loved her parents but loving a guy could it be turn. She closed her eyes and slowly dance to the music on the Gryffindor table.

James was tired, that much was certain and, as he made his way down to breakfast he looked something like a zombie. His eyes half closed he could not quite stop himself from walking into the arch of the door as he attempted to enter the Great Hall. He stood there for a moment, staring at the floor with a look of confusion until he finally stepped to the side a little in order to walk through the door properly. He could hear something, music of some description emanating from somewhere in the area. It was the weekend so, naturally, James had hardly even managed to contemplate sleeping. He wasn't eve sure what time it was and whether breakfast was indeed being served but there seemed to be a distinct lack of voices as he allowed his feet to carry him into the hall.
He had been here five years now and knew where Gryffindor table was without even having to look at it. As it were, he took his seat and allowed his head to fall onto the table with a dull thud. He raised it once again almost immediately after he had placed it on the desk his eyes now wide with shock. He turned his head slightly noticing for the first time that the music was coming from some sort of a radio device nearby. His mind not as clear as would be ideal he took a while, staring blearily at the device before he figured out that there was actually only one other person in the room.
A female was in the room with him, she looked to be about the same age as he was although he didn't recognise her from any of his classes so there must have only been around a years difference in their ages. He stared at her for a moment unable to process why she might be here in the Hall. His eyes were probably somewhat blurry looking and a frown crossed his face before he smiled a little. "Oh! I get it." He called triumphantly, "It's a dance..."
He seemed pleased with his deductions as he continued to watch the other student.

Lauren was so much into the song that she did not even notice that someone had entered the room or was sitting at the table that she was dancing on. When the song had finally ended and she heard a guys voice she looked down and saw a guy at first she blushed lightly and then she was sitting on the table looking at him. “Sorry” she said thinking how odd it was as she moved and shut off the music as she looked back over at the guy she knew that he was Potter boy. Harry Potter when his father and well it was like he was a god the guy who made the world so much better way back when. She didn’t know too much about it all but she knew as much that needed to be known.
“Why are you up so early?” she asked it was a weekend and everyone that she knew was sleep she wasn’t much of people for sleeping late so she was always up early. The last thing she thought about was for someone to be coming in when she was dancing. It was so embarrassing and she tried not to show it on her face that she was.

James' mind had begun to clear slightly from his lack of sleep. He was, at least, now aware that it was the weekend so he would probably not be getting a detention for poorly completed homework. Not that he ever really failed to complete it but as far as he was aware he still had a bit to do. As much as he would have liked to have been partying the previous night he had actually dedicated some time of it to getting the work done for potions. It was, strangely enough, one of his best subjects and one that he actually enjoyed. Furthermore, he thought that the girl in the room with him may have actually been a Ravenclaw. She had not noticed him until he had spoken which, he supposed, was a good thing considering his now throbbing forehead.
He rubbed it slightly and smiled at the other student. She seemed a little embarrassed by his presence. He would have offered to leave and wander down to the kitchens in search of food but he was incredibly lazy when he was tired and, more to the point, he felt like talking to someone. He enjoyed casual talk so long as it wasn't with a Slytherin. Call him old fashioned but he didn't really think that Gryffindors and Slytherins could completely get along with one another. Years of conflict between the two houses had certainly created a rift that could not be easily ignored. But, other than that, he was all for inter-house friendship or acquaintances.
"Oh, I'm not up early, I just never slept." He replied with something of a mad grin, "Besides, I could ask you the same question really. I mean, you know, the food's not even here yet." He said the last sentence with a hint of longing staring at the empty tables. He was so incredibly hungry that he couldn't even prevent his stomach expressing its desire for food as he thought of it. He sighed a little and forced his attention back on the other student. "Oh hey, you're the Ravenclaw beater!" He half shouted finally managing to place where he had seen her. He grinned with glee at the thought that he actually knew her. Laura... Lauren... Laurie... Well... It was something like that anyway. He'd figure it out eventually.
