December 11th, 2020
The air was brisk and chilly, but it wasn't snowing - at least, not yet. The sky was grey and heavy, promising heavy snow later on in the day. Yet somehow it seemed cheerful, despite the grey sky and the heavy clouds. The crystalline snow glittered, blanketing the school grounds, the sun reflecting off the whiteness.
Kylie really enjoyed the outdoors. It did well to clear her mind and alleviate stress. Though on this particular trip outdoors, she wasn't really stressed. It just seemed like a good day to go out.
The sound of galloping hooves threw her off track. She spun around to face the horsemen, only to have them race past her - and through, as well, sending shivers racing up her spine. The ghostly horsemen then proceeded to crash through one of the large windows at the side of the school, sending phantom crystal shards of glass flying, only to be replaced and shattered by the next rider. Kylie smiled. Ghosts were so fascinating.

Malcolm was walking around the grounds doing his Prefect duties when he saw this Gryffindor girl just hanging outside and he thought he would go and introduce himself. He walked over to her and said "hey there, my name is Malcolm Longhat. do you mind if i sit down?"
