The wolf felt her jaws connect with the the arm of the little girl but let go when she began to push against her snout. She recoiled slightly with a sneeze and turned suddenly when she felt something grab her tail spotting the boy behind her. She snarled and made to attack him too before something else hit her freezing her in place. The wolf could only hear and look about her still feeling her tail being pulled by the boy. If she could have snarled she would have wanting to make the boy stop annoying her. The girl was still under her but she was now standing so the girl could now move.
Mei couldn't believe it. That she had now allowed another to become like her. To be honest, she was thankful that she wouldn't remember the details in the morning but she was almost certain there would be repercussions. The woman behind her, the one who had shot the spell was almost certainly a ministry official. It would have been only a matter of time before they came after her... All registered wolves were followed... To stop just this from happening... If they put her down it would almost be a relief but she also didn't want to die...
The wolf just hung there in something like suspended animation unable to do anything. She tried to move but there was nothing that could fight against such a powerful spell...

Lily's eyes gre wide as Mei let go of her arm and lunged at her brother. Instinctively she reached to grab her and get her attention back on her. She would rather she die than for Mei to attack her brother and make him a werewolf like she most certainly would become. "Leave him alone, "she shouted. As soon as she went to hit it's muzzle it froze. "Huh?" She looked around and saw an adult stalking towards them. Tears where still running down her face. She knew Mei was in trouble when she saw her. Mei hadn't wanted to attack Lily but she couldn't control herself. She slid out from under Mei and stood up holding her bleeding arm. She ran to James and berried her face in James shirt. "I thought I was going to die. I didn't think I would ever see you or the others every again. She didn't care that her tears and blood might stain her brother's close she was still shaking from fear and wanted to be comforted. Looking up she locked her eye's with James. "We have to help her some how. Mei hadn't wanted to attack me. She told me to run but I wasn't fast enough. We can't let the ministry hurt or kill her James."

Iris felt a weight be lifted off her shoulders once the wolf stopped thrashing about. She was uncertain about the situation at present all she knew was that she was finally able to catch her breath and think with a clear mind. So many things were rambling in there.. so much trouble, so much chaos. And all because of this dumb mutt. She exhaled loudly and strided forward, Keeping her wand lifted onto the wolf. Frustrated, she kicked the damn thing. It would soon face harsher violence than her foot, but it did make her feel a little better. Incarcerous, she said the spell nonverbally, watching the ropes emit from her wand and tangle around the wolf. Just as a second precaution.
Now.... the children. Iris stared at the dumb brats. Meddlesome things. "The Headmistress has been notified of the situation." she looked at James, the older of the two "Return her to the castle immediately. Your disregard for rules and order could have resulted in your classmates death. I hope you've learned your lesson." she added coldly. She felt nothing for rulebreakers, regardless of age. "Now ..I expect you to return immediately." she growled. Normally she would have taken them to the castle herself, but she had other plans for how to spend the rest of her day. She looked to the entangled wolf and smiled a bitter smile. Yes... she would be busy.
With that, she removed the portkey from her pocket, it was a dirty looking tubesock that had alot of wear and tear in it. Grabbing onto the wolf, she touched the sock carefully and ported away from Hogwarts. The porkey was a one time use thing so she didn't have to worry about having it left behind back there.

James grabbed Lily and fell to the ground holding her close. Tears fell into her hair as he hugged her staring at the woman who was now approaching the three of them. Lily seemed in no fit shape to be dealing with the woman and he attempted to hide her arm from the woman by wrapping his cloak around her protectively. It was fairly obvious that one of them had been injured but he wanted to somehow hide it from the woman. He glared at the wolf as it was wrapped up in ropes. Mei Carmine. He felt sorry for her but at the same time... She had attacked his sister... He wouldn't say that what she got she deserved but he certainly felt a little bit of anger. The woman spoke some harsh words to the both of them and they washed over him. He was a rule breaker but he had never thought about this being a broken law. His sister was in danger and he'd done what he could to help her. That was it. He was about to say something, stop her from taking Mei but she immediately used a portkey and left.
"Wait, hold on...!" He called out, but she was gone. There was nothing to be done about it. He had failed Lily three times now in one day. Well... Happy Birthday. "Come on Lily, we have to go..." He said softly not even wanting to move himself... but pulling her lightly in an attempt to move her just a little. They had to get help and do something... Tears were still falling from his eyes with his voice wavering slightly with every word he spoke.

The wolf let loose an odd, restrained sort of yelp as ropes wrapped themselves around her whilst receiving a swift kick shortly after having been incarcerated. If it could have felt anything other than anger it would have probably felt fear when the woman reached out and touched her. Something pulled her and she had instantly left the grounds...

(holding this spot cause you guys post faster than I can read ) Galen needed more than butterbeer to deal with this carp. It wasn't in the job description, but the bright side was he got to harass and physically intimidate students and that was a plus in his book. A bathrobe and slippers were the first things he could grab on the way down there to cover himself...and nothing else. Screaming profanities that would make a hardened criminal blush, he ran at full speed, his bathrobe whipping against his ankles, and his slippers flapping against the bottoms of his feet as he tried to get down there before that ministry woman left. Of course he just missed her as she was hauling that delinquent kid away, just his luck. He had no real idea what was going on, only that the headmistress dragged him out of bed in this freezing weather, only telling him there was a werewolf on the grounds being removed and he was needed to break up the rest of the students. "You! Boy! Get your skinny arse back to your dorms, Potter, or you'll be in the hospital wing with your friend, for a different reason." he transfigured a stretcher for Lily and dragged her onto it, not caring if she was startled or not, he just wanted to go back to bed. Frankly he didn't care about anything but getting back into the warm castle, but almost hoped the boy would put up a fight, he'd welcome the chance to display some authority, he'd been chafing at the 'no physical discipline' rule for years.

Lily was already crying when she was dragged away from her brother. "NO, please let him come with me," she cried and reached for her brother. She didn't want to be alone. Not to mention she really didn't like Prof. Galen he creeppped her out big time And he was really mean. Though she didn't mind lying down she barely had the energy to stand. Her whole body was shivering as it began to go into shock. Her good arm reached out for James as tears ran down her cheek at the though of being alone with out family. Her eyes where locked on James hoping against hope the Professor would let James come with them.

James felt Lily being pulled away from him and was instantly aware of a rather... Well, insane was the best word for it, teacher pulling Lily from his grasp. Professor Sinnessjuk was perhaps the only teacher that James actually sort of looked up to. It was odd but because of his behaviour, being quite insane, James felt somewhat connected to him. Regardless, he had just rather forcibly dragged his injured sister away from him so he was most certainly a little upset. He jumped to his feet, stumbling a bit and rushed after Sinnessjuk and Lily. "Wait, I have to stay with her!" He called running to catch up with the professors rather swift movements.
"Please Professor," He half begged looking the professor in the eye. He couldn't let Lily go, not now. He wouldn't be able to sleep anyway. If he was forced to go back to the dorm he would just use the marauders map again to sneak out. Speaking of which, he had forgotten to wipe it... He hoped it wasn't blood soaked or anything... He pushed this thought from his mind. It wasn't the most pressing matter at hand. "She needs me, I need to look after her!"
He realised, at that moment, that the professor was wearing a bathrobe and looking rather... odd. He stifled a laugh knowing this was neither the time nor the place and, immediately, a wave of shame, frustration, anger and sadness washed over him as he struggled to keep up with the Professor's fast pace. He didn't care what would happen but he would hardly leave his sister behind while he moved to sleep in his own bed blissfully unaware of the pain his sister was in. Surely there was something someone could do. Maybe she wouldn't become a werewolf. Maybe she'd be just fine and nothing would happen. He had to hope that it would all be fine. He just wanted to make sure that Lily was fine.

"Twenty points from Gryffindor" he snarled and sped up the pace, the stretcher floating in front of him, top speed. "This girl needs to be examined, treated, sedated and then questioned by the Ministry when she wakes. You're not needed for this. Go back to your dorm until the Ministry sends for you, for your eyewitness statement." he said coldly, and walked the path to the Hospital Wing. He knew there would be little need for witness statements not matter what he told those kids. Most likely there would be no wolf to bring statements against come morning. One of the advantages to being in the ministry. They got all the fun jobs.

Prof. Rose had been out for a walk. She patrolled the grounds on the full moon to make sure no student got hurt. It was just as she reached the quidditch field that she heard Prof. Galen Sinnessjuk take twenty points from Gryffindor and order James back to the dorm. She walked up to them to see the bite marks on Lily. "Prof. Sinnessjuk I understand taking the points away for James disobeying an order. But you see this here girl is not just anyone. It is his sister. I am sure he will not be able to sleep unless he knows she is ok. Perhaps you can make an excuse to allow him to come along?"

Lily let out a cry as the Professor said she would be sedated. Why would they to that? She wasn't a danger to anyone. "Why are you going to sedate me I haven't done anything wrong I won't hurt anyone." Fresh tears continued to run down her face. "I want my family with me. Don't make James go please Professor." Lily let out a gasp at the voice of her head of house. Maybe she could talk some sense into this crazy and stupid Professor. "Prof. Rose please let James come with me. I don't want to be alone." She didn't care that Prof. Rose was already trying to talk him into it. She just had to say it.

The loss of twenty points was something of a slap in the face but was hardly important at the moment. He suspected that his house wouldn't think the same if he lost any more house points this night but Lily was his sister no matter what had happened or how many points he lost. After he got a few detentions he might stop following but at the moment it was as though his legs were simply carrying him along. He was running behind Professor Sinnessjuk breathing tiredly. It was all just an automatic reaction as though he was merely doing this because he wasn't sure what else to do. He couldn't walk back into the Common Room looking like he did anyway. Not if he wanted to keep what had happened between himself and Lily... And the ministry and the staff of Hogwarts. Lily would be questioned and sedated? But that wasn't right, she wasn't a danger and if she took her potion like that Mei should have done tonight then all would be fine in the subsequent months. Regardless, he had to follow them into the castle anyway and could leave them eventually if the need was really that great but he would delay it as long as possible.
It was, therefore, something of a shock when Professor Rose came over to them. Obviously they had all been noticed by others for whatever reason. He imagined that the wolf howling had alerted most of the Professors to their... escapade. He sighed a little nerves and exhaustion causing him to stop caring about anything except making certain that Lily was safe and what their family would do. What would his parents say. Albus, Molly, Rose... He had stood there and allowed Lily to be mauled by that dog. Dominique, Hugo. Would all be wondering why he had done nothing to help? He tried to push the thought from his mind as he focused on the matter before him. James stayed silent as Rose spoke to Sinnessjuk. He didn't want to push his luck that much... There was no need to further frustrate Professor Sinnessjuk if he could help it. For once, James had control over his common sense.

He wasn't even going to ask himself if the woman was stupid, it was obvious. How she managed to get a job here was beyond his ability to imagine. If this was the way she handled her students, no wonder they were all so whiny as if they could get their way ALL the time. "Woman, are you telling me to fight Ministry orders? Just because you can't handle your students? Get out of my way, this child needs medical attention, you incompetent twit." He kept moving, into the safety of the castle. "Boy, if you don't get back to your dorm and wait to be called for your interview, I can't say I didn't warn you" he waved his wand in James' general direction hoping to get to use it. That poor excuse for a head of house had been letting these kids run all over her for far too long, and he was going to teach them how quickly to do as they were told. What an idiot. A medical emergency, and a criminal attack and she wanted to hang out with the kids and chit chat. He wondered if she'd have even gotten the girl looked at if nobody was there to supervise the situation. Not likely, she'd probably have just given the kid a cookie and sent her to bed with a kiss and a pat on the head, ignoring the blood everywhere. Surrounded by idiots, that was what he was, just surrounded with them. This probably would never have been reported, so you'd have one crazy registered bint running around chomping on everyone, and one unregistered brat clawing herself and snacking on everyone else.
